I'll tell you what, you need a lot of energy just
to get through the day. Imagine doing it for the whole week. So far these
kids are really outstanding.
Both groups (Jolly Goddard and Earhart) are in full
active duty now. Students are now starting to get a "taste" of
space camp and what real astronauts do.
Extra special thanks to Linda Treat from Scranton
School for the Deaf, she has helped me out tremendously. Her students are in
the same group that as Ethan and Cassie, so in the morning she covers that
group and sends me pictures. Also I just want to mention how proud I am
of our kids (WPSD and Scranton both). They are just phenomenal.
I can only cover just a small fraction of what the
kids do all day. So what you see on the blog is only a small part of
their day.
This morning all the teacher staff did their missions. David and Linda got assigned to Lab on ISS, while I was mission specialist 1 who worked on fixing the satellite out in space. This gives us an opportunity to see what the kids go through and to work out any flaws that might come up.

So the highlights of today: the kids got to experience SIM Take off and landing “Flying a plane” Multi-Axis
ride, rocket building, team building activity at Area 51, and started their
training for missions. The kids really
bloomed during the team building activity in Area 51, they continue to awe and
amaze me everyday.

Tomorrow is more mission training, scuba training and the pole climbing
activity. They really got these kids
running a full day. I am going to try to add more pictures in later. Gotta run, they don't let us rest here!! Have a good day all.
